ARMED robbers, on Wednesday, invaded the Ikeja residence of the late winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, Chief MKO Abiola, carting away valuables and cash.
The robbers, The Point gathered, broke into the house at about 3am, and went straight to a section of the house, occupied by the late philanthropist’s wife, Mrs. Adebisi Abiola.
Family sources said, though the robbers went away with money and valuables, they were glad that no one was hurt.
The Police, it was learnt, had arrested seven suspects and handed them over to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
