Oil workers under the aegis of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria and the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas, have suspended their strike.
PENGASSON and NUPENG had recently embarked on an industrial action.
Our correspondent gathered that the decision to end the strike was taken after a meeting between the two unions and the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige.
The meeting ended at about 1:00am on Wednesday.
Details later.
