A digital wallet, Nairabox, has unveiled Yemi Alade and Geniuzz as their first ambassadors.
Nairabox is a digital wallet that allows its users to pay for goods and services within the application.
The unveiling ceremony, which took place at the company’s Lagos office in Lekki on Tuesday, was a gathering of media personalities and friends.
The Chief Executive Officer, Nairabox, Damilola Jegede, disclosed that the the choice of the company’s brand representatives was dictated by the fact that the two representatives had lifestyles that resonate with the brand.
“We thought that our representatives must have the same lifestyle we project. The brands of Geniuzz and Yemi Alade reach out to the kind of people we relate with. Yemi Alade doesn’t need any introduction, we all know her. When she agreed to be part of this, we were all excited. We hope to do great things together,” he explained.
Yemi Alade, speaking about the benefits of Nairabox, said everything had been moved online.
She said, “If you want to watch a movie, you could use your Nairabox to pay for ticket, you could do transfers and a host of other things with the wallet.”
She added that it was her first e-wallet endorsement, insisting that she was excited because it afforded her the opportunity to reach out to more young people.
