The Osun State Police have arrested a 50-year-old father, Adeleye Fayemiwo, for allegedly raping his 13-year-old daughter.
The state Commissioner of Police, Undie Adie, said Fayemiwo, of No B50, Agbongbe Street, Ibokun, had unlawful carnal knowledge of his daughter in the bedroom.
Adie said the suspect committed the offence on June 17, 2020 at about 7am.
The victim was said to have been taken to hospital for medical examination and treatment.
He said the suspect was arrested after complaint was made to the police station in Ile-Ife and that he would be arraigned.
