President Muhammadu Buhari returned to Nigeria on Sunday after spending 13 days in London, United Kingdom.

The Presidential jet arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at about 5.32pm. The President stepped out of the aircraft at 5:42pm

He was received by Zamfara State Governor, Abdulaziz Yari; Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello; members of the Federal Executive Council, top government officials, federal lawmakers and service chiefs, among others.

On arrival, Buhari inspected a guard of honour mounted by men of the Guards Brigade.

Buhari left the country on June 6 for a 10-day vacation during which he was expected to see ENT specialists over a persistent ear infection.

But last Thursday, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo told State House correspondents‎, shortly before the commencement of the National Economic Council meeting, that President Buhari would now return on Sunday because he needed to take the weekend off.‎‎
