The governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party and two-times acting governor of Adamawa State, Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has assured the people of the state that he is coming to rescue them from the suffering and poverty that they have been going through for over three years now.

Fintiri gave this assurance shortly after Friday prayer in Yola when members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists Adamawa State Correspondent Chapel, paid  him  a courtesy visit, saying he was sympathising with the people of the state over the difficulties they were going through, especially the civil servants who are being owed their monthly salaries.

He, however, urged the people to unite and make sure that they rally behind PDP so that they can get back their glory and wisdom, which, according to him,  have been denied them  by the Bindow administration.

The governorship aspirant stated that he was contesting against three aspirants from different political parties but he was optimistic that he will emerge the winner of the 2019 governorship election.
