A 42-year-old man, Babalola Nasiru, has been dragged before an Apapa Magistrates’ Court for allegedly attacking one Kelvin Onyebara and stealing his iPhone 8 valued at N420, 000.
Nasiru was arrested and brought to court by policemen attached to the FESTAC Police Station.
The prosecutor, Inspector Bassey Sunday, told the court that the accused person and others now at large committed the offences punishable under Sections 411, 287 and 173 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015
The charge read that the accused and others at large “did conspire among themselves to commit felony to wit stealing.”
In the second-count charge, the prosecutor said Naisru and others at large “did steal iPhone 8 plus phone valued at N420, 000.00 (Four hundred and twenty thousand Naira ), property of one Kelvin Onyebara.”
The prosecutor also told the court in the third-count charge that the accused and others at large “did unlawfully assault one Kelvin Onyebara ‘M’ by giving him fist blows all over his body.”
