Few hours after 15 senators of the ruling All Progressives Congress defected to the main opposition Peoples Democratic Partyon Tuesday, 32 APC lawmakers in the House of Representatives have followed suit.
But four other APC reps defected to the African Democratic Congress.
The four APC lawmakers, who defected to the ADC, are from Oyo State, bringing the total number of defection in the House of Representatives to 36.
When the Speaker, Mr. Yakubu Dogara, made the announcement, PDP lawmakers went into a wild jubilation.
Inspite of the defection of the 36 APC lawmakers to the PDP and ADC, the APC still remains in the majority.
