Famous Nollywood actress, TV personality, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Ebube Nwagbo, started her acting career at the age of 20.
The Nollywood act got her first role in acting through the magnanimity of a friend of hers, who secured a role for her at a casting arena.
And since then, Nollywood became for her a second family.
In the course of her acting career, Ebube has won several awards, including those of the Best Actress of the Year at the African Magic Viewers’ Choice award and the Most Promising Actress in Nigeria at the City People Entertainment Award, amongst others.
After attaining success in Nollywood, the multiple award-winning actress decided to try her hands in entrepreneurship. And towards this end, she launched an entertainment company, PoshWorld Productions.
Although the 34-year-old actress is an indigene of Anambra State, she grew up in Warri, Delta State, where she finished her primary and secondary education. She also proceeded to study Mass Communication at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State.
Ebube, who is currently one of the highest paid actresses in the country, however, says her style is always classical and simple. Unlike the average Nollywood celebrity, she never wears bright and defiant colours.
“I like to look good always, I like to be comfortable in whatever I wear, and that is what dictates my outfits. I have always had a strong passion for fashion and style. I can say that generally, every woman should crave to look good, smart and elegant. I am a shining example of what a typical fashionable and elegant woman should aspire to be. Fashion is every woman’s dream; it does not come easy because it’s a lot of work,” she says.
