The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party in Etsako East Local Government Area have endorsed a former council chairman, Hon. Abubakar Momoh, as the preferred candidate for Edo North Senatorial District in the 2019 general elections.
Momoh, who is also a former member of the Edo State House of Assembly and a two-term member of the House of Representatives, was endorsed by the party leaders during a strategic meeting at Agenebode. The meeting was convened at the country home of High Chief Raymond Dokpesi to deliberate on the way forward for the PDP in 2019 in the senatorial district.
The meeting also took consensus decisions on many other issues.
