Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State has lauded the Osile Oke-Ona Egba, Oba Adedapo Tejuoso, for his contribution to his political success in the state.

Amosun, who spoke through the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Taiwo Adeoluwa, commended Oba Tejuoso for supporting his political ambition as governor of the state.

He gave the commendation during Oba Tejuosho’s 80th birthday celebrations, organised by the Ogun State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria at the Treasure House of God, Abeokuta, the state capital.

The governor, however, attributed the traditional ruler’s support for his political carrier in the state to his first son, Lanre Tejuoso, who is the incumbent senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly.

“For us as a government, for us as a team, Kabiyesi contributed so much to all our political success, maybe after his conversion by Lanre. We have to show our gratitude first to Almighty God and then to people like Kabiyesi, who stood by us when we were in the wilderness and stood firmly in those difficult years,” he said.
