Two of Nigeria’s celebrated musicians, Skales and Waconzy, have currently offered opposite views about the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, thereby proving the veracity of the adages: ‘Different strokes for different folks’ and ‘One man’s meat is another man’s poison.’

Skales was the first to fire a salvo at Buhari, when he exploded recently without mincing words that Buhari was the worst President in the world.

Waconzy, who’s currently in America and has been for some time, has, however, jumped to Buhari’s defence, saying he’s not the problem of the country.

According to Waconzy, who became a household name with his song, I Celebrate, “The problem with Nigeria is not Buhari or past presidents. Rather it’s our judicial system.”

He then urged the judiciary to remember their duties and do their job appropriately. He also advised them to try and be independent and if necessary, generate their own funds so they would not be controlled by the President or other politicians. He concluded by saying that the judiciary had the ability to turn Nigeria around for the best within a short time.
