Major League Soccer star, Kennedy Igboananike, has commissioned a multi-million building in Egan, Igando, a Lagos suburb.

The holidaying Chicago Fire forward in the MLS, who performed the house warming ceremony during the just-concluded festivities told The Point after cutting the cake with his Swedish wife to formally declare the building open, that he was excited seeing the project finally come to life.

“This building means a lot to me as a person. I’m excited to finally see the millions invested in the projected accomplished. Also, I could not believe the large turnout of guests present to witness this day. At some point, someone asked me if I placed announcements on radio or TV that I was opening a house,” he said.

“I just want to give all thanks to the Almighty God for seeing me through the project,” added Igboananike, who grew up in Ajegunle, but moved overseas in search of the golden fleece.
