Nigeria defender, Azubuike Egwuekwe, has completed a move to PSL club SuperSport United.
The former Warri Wolves man signed a three-year contract with Matsatsantsa that will keep him at the club till 2020.
“SuperSport United has confirmed the signing of 28-year old Nigerian central defender Azubuike Egwuekwe on a three-year deal #SkeemaMatsatsantsa,” the South African club announced via their Twitter account on Thursday.
The big defender was a member of the Nigerian team that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa. He was also part of the Super Eagles to the 2013 Fifa Confederations Cup in Brazil.
Egwuekwe has been allocated jersey number 27 for the season but he is unlikely to feature in the MTN8 semifinal first leg against Maritzburg United.
