Twenty-four hours after Molde confirmed the capture of one of Nigeria’s biggest football talents Daniel Daga, another promising Nigerian youngster has moved to the Norwegian top-flight, Eliteserien.
On Sunday, Kristiansund BK announced the signing of 20-year-old centre-forward Mustapha Isah.
While Daga has joined Molde from FC One Rocket on undisclosed terms, Isah has signed a contract with Kristiansund BK that will last until the 2028 season, ending his association with Danish Superliga club Randers in the process.
A product of HypeBuzz Abuja in his homeland, Isah has played in Norway before, scoring six goals in twelve appearances during a loan spell at IK Start in the second half of the 2024 Norwegian season.
The 20-year-old has decided to embark on a new chapter in his career due to a lack of playing opportunities at Randers, where he made ten appearances during his stint with the club.
With the presence of fellow Nigerian and gifted teenager Wilfred George Igor, Isah is unlikely to face any challenges settling in at Kristiansund BK.
“I have come here to score a lot of goals. I’m fast and I like to dribble, you’ll see,” Isah said to reporters.
“Wilfred says I’m making a good choice. He’s told me everything, so I’m happy to be here.”
For the 2025 season, Isah has been allocated the number 7 jersey at Kristiansund BK.
