A member of the Governance Advisory Council, Akinsanya Sunny Ajose, is dead.
Ajose died early Thursday, January 16, 2025, after a brief illness.
He was 79 years old. He was born on February 10, 1946.
The late Ajose was the leader for the Badagry axis of the All Progressives Congress and was among the last set of members admitted into the prestigious and powerful GAC group in 2022.
The late Ajose had a distinguished career in the Lagos State Civil Service reaching the pinnacle position of the Head of Service before his retirement.
He also served as Deputy Chief of Staff to both former governors Bola Tinubu and Babatunde Raji Fashola.
