Voting for the 11th edition of the Nigeria Pitch Awards is scheduled to commence on Monday 25th, November 2024 and will continue until Sunday January 5th, 2025.
According to the President of Nigeria Pitch Awards, Shina Philips, he stated that in this edition, voting will be online. Award Form designed in MS-Word format will also be forwarded by email to all voters who are mainly sport journalists. The form and the 2024 Award Criteria have both been attached and sent to the voters.
Philips further said: “On the number of choices, voters will be able to make their nominations/cast their votes by making only two (2) choices in each category. The first choice in each category will be awarded 5 marks while your second choice will be awarded 3 marks.
“Award winners are determined solely by votes cast by voters and other distinguished sports journalists selected for their experience, professionalism and pedigree. They have our assurances that the process leading to the final decisions on winners will remain transparent and credible.
“We have absolute confidence in the quality of the decisions of the voters and we assure them that their votes in each category will be accurately captured.
“The entire process will be coordinated by SIAO Partners, a world class accounting and auditing firm who are well noted for their professionalism and high standards.They are expected to bring this rare combination of qualities to bear on the voting process.
“We encourage all voters to let their choices reflect top performers of the beautiful game between 1st January 2024 and Present.”
