Governor Aminu Bello Masari of katsina State has said that dialogue, rather than violence, remains the best option for settling political differences.
Masari stated this, when he received a delegation of APC leaders from Funtua, who visited him at the Government House Council Chamber in Katsina, over an incident that occurred in Funtua recently.
The governor promised that government would leave no stone unturned in identifying the perpetrators of the dastardly act with a view to averting future occurrence of such unfortunate incident in the state.
According to him, the state government and the APC would work towards fishing out the perpetrators and their sponsors, who he said would be prosecuted and also expelled from the party.
He, therefore, solicited the cooperation and support of the people of Funtua in the investigation to fish out the bad eggs to prevent the innocent from being punished unjustly.
The governor assured that the Funtua incident would not stop government from executing ongoing projects meant to improve the wellbeing of Funtua people and their neighborhood.
He added that the rehabilitation, renovation and upgrading of the Funtua motor park and market would continue as scheduled
