The crisis rocking the Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has taken a new dimension as the party has produced two parallel candidates for the April 26 bye election to fill a vacant seat in the Warri South constituency 1 in the Delta State House of Assembly.
The two candidates emerged from the parallel party primaries held in Obodo and Warri, both in Warri South Local Government Area of the state.
The two APC candidates are Stanley Emiko and Sunday Demi- Ejegi, who are both claiming to be the authentic candidates of the party in the forthcoming bye election.
A lawyer and stalwart of the APC in the state, Robinson Ariyo, had recently blamed the APC National Working Committee for the protracted crisis in the Delta chapter of the party.
