Despite the laws recently promulgated by the Ogun State Government prohibiting the activities of land grabbers, findings have revealed that the residents of Isoso Village, are currently going through harrowing experience in the hands of some hoodlums laying claim to lands in the community.

Sources revealed that there had been series of complaints by the villagers bearing on conspiracy, threat to life, bodily harms, willful trespass on lands without due recourse and illegal use of arms and ammunition by these land grabbers, who have been terrorising the area.

Brandishing a copy of a petition written on their behalf by their lawyer, Gbenga Ojo, dated January 10, 2017 and addressed to the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, the troubled residents prayed the police boss to wade into the matter by stopping the activities of some unidentified police officers, who claim to have been deployed from Abuja.

The said officers attached to the IGP Monitoring Squad were allegedly being sponsored by two suspected land grabbers,Tunde Umoru and Taiye Onikoyi.
