The Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, has appreciated the Foxes’ supporters after the English side reached the last eight of the European top tier competition.
Ndidi thanked Leicester City fans for their support in the UEFA Champions League triumph over Sevilla.
Goals from Wes Morgan and Marc Albrighton ensured the Foxes’ passage to the quarterfinals of the European premier competition after they recorded a 3-2 aggregate win over their Spanish counterparts.
And the midfielder claimed Craig Shakespeare’s men gave their all to progress to the next stage of the tourney.
“We gave it everything we had, we left everything out there. what a Great support from the fans… #nextround #ucl #lcfc #thankyouLord,” Ndidi wrote on his official twitter account.
Leicester, who are still battling for survival in the Premier League despite successive wins under new boss Craig Shakespeare, now go into Friday’s quarter-final draw.
Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Juventus are among the teams they could play for a place in the last four.
Juventus goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon, said after his side sealed their place in the last eight by beating Porto on Tuesday that Leicester are the team to avoid in the next round.
