  • Edo Deputy Governor extols priest for service to God, humanity

Edo State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu and his wife, Maryann, on Easter Monday, graced the 10th year priestly ordination anniversary of Fr. Jude Amune.

The glorious event which attracted catholic faithful and dignitaries from all walks of life, held at the St Philip-Neri Catholic Church, Jattu-Uzairue in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.

The presence of the second family, accompanied by Donald Okogbe, member representing Akoko-Edo Constituency 11 at the Edo State House of Assembly and other political associates, erupted in a thunderous ovation by the congregation, echoing the respect and admiration for the esteemed guests.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after the special mass, the Deputy Governor congratulated the celebrant, Fr Jude Amune, for ‘his sacrificial service to God and humanity’, while praying for more grace to continue working in God’s vineyard.

Two books, “ln the Hollow of God’s Hands” and “Administrative Intelligence”, authored by Fr Jude Amune were unveiled to mark the special event.
