The Independent National Electoral Commission has officially revealed the dates for the highly anticipated governorship elections in Edo and Ondo states next year.
This was made known in a statement by Mr Sam Olumekun, the National Commissioner and Chairman of the Information and Voter Education and Committee.
According to the statement, the Edo governorship election is scheduled to be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024,
Furthermore, Mr. Olumekun disclosed that the Ondo governorship election will follow closely on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
