Abubakar, PDP BoT plan vibrant opposition

The former Vice President of Nigeria and Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has revealed what he discussed with the Board of Trustees of the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party when he hosted them on Thursday at his Abuja residence.

The presidential candidate of the PDP in the 2023 national elections stated that they discussed how to make the PDP a vibrant opposition to save Nigeria.

Abubakar, a former Vice President of Nigeria contested and lost the presidential election to the standard flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu

He was also defeated at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja, but he has promised to challenge the judgment at the Supreme Court.

Atiku Abubakar stated on his verified Twitter page; “It was an honour and privilege to host the Board of Trustees of the @OfficialPDPNig led by its Chairman and former Senate President, H.E Sen Adolphus Wabara, at my residence in Abuja.”

“I had a fruitful discussion with the conscience of our great party on a vibrant opposition agenda to save Nigeria and Nigerians from the socio-economic and political asphyxiation it is currently going through. -AA”
