… Everton star wants to play for Real Madrid or Barca
Nigerian-born Everton star, Ademola Lookman, is still a joker Everton manager, Ronald Koeman, would require to dismantle Crystal Palace when they visit tomorrow in the English Premier League tie.
The youthful player has already registered his presence in the hearts of Everton supporters when he scored in the 4-0 whitewash of Manchester City.
Lookman is already looking beyond the English Premiership League as he is eyeing a possible move to La Liga’s Real Madrid or Barcelona, after his superlative duel against Kelechi Iheanacho’s Man City.
The 19-year-old came off the bench on the 90th minute as Everton were sailing towards a 3-0 win over Man City. Lookman added a fourth, minutes into his introduction, giving the Goodison Park crowd a glimpse of what to expect from him. Koeman has faith the in the England under-20 international, having paid Charlton £11 million for his services. And in an interview prior to the match against City, Lookman admitted he won’t be resting on his oars, despite earning a move to the Premier League.
“One day I want to win trophies. Of course I want to play at the highest level – whether it be in England or Spain, I want to be at the top,” Lookman was quoted by Everton website. “You have teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid. As a kid, I dreamed of playing for one of those teams and I suppose Manchester United,” he added
