Sanwo-Olu sacks LAWMA Managing Director, LTV General Manager

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has removed the Managing Director/CEO of Lagos Waste Management Authority, Ibrahim Odumboni from office.

Also removed from office is the General Manager, Lagos Television, Siju Alabi.

A letter from the office of the Head of Service, dated June 9, 2023, asked Odumboni to vacate office immediately.

The letter was signed by the Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola.

Odumboni was asked to hand over to the next in command, Kunle Adebiyi, who is the Executive Director, Finance of the authority and he is currently acting.

Odumboni was made LAWMA Managing Director/CEO on August 31, 2020.

In the case of Siju Alabi, she was ordered by the governor to proceed on compulsory leave some weeks back and will not be returning as the General Manager of LTV.

Sola Kosoko is currently acting as the General Manager of LTV.

These changes in LTV came after its staff expressed dissatisfaction with Alabi’s leadership and some moved against her re-appointment in 2022.
