Adeleke’s wife visits survivors of Ode-Omu crash, promises support

Wife of the governor of Osun State, Ngozi Adeleke, on Thursday visited the survivors of the Ode-Omu motor accident where they are receiving treatments at Osun State Teaching Hospital Osogbo.

Recall that the crash last weekend claimed 16 lives and injured some passengers.

Mrs. Adeleke condoled the families of victims who lost their lives in the accident and thanked the good samaritans who rescued the survivors and brought them to the hospital.

One of the survivors who is a native of Ede township and a student of the department of Health Technician, Crestfield College of Health Technology Erin Osun, was elated and thankful to the governor’s wife for her unexpected visit.

The deputy Chief Medical Officer of the hospital and Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee, Dr. Babatunde Afolabi, described the administration of Governor Adeleke Adeleke as being passionate about the welfare of the people.

He assured that the hospital management would continue to provide quality medical services to save lives.

Meanwhile, Ngozi Adeleke pledged to submit report of her visitation to her husband, the state governor with a view to facilitating financial and material support of the state government for the victims.
