Amusement Park & Resort, Magboro, Ogun State has assured its patrons of maximum
security protection during and after the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
The Deputy General Manager of the Park, located along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, Ms. Ufoma Ogodo, explained to The Point that its security gadgets, which include 3D full body and baggage scanners from Canada, have the capacity to detect even the smallest of metals, either in the body or hidden in any part of a baggage, thereby preventing people from
coming to the Park with harmful objects.
“As part of our determination to ensure security of life and property of our guests, the management, in addition to other security measures put in place, acquired this scanners with a view to preventing people with sinister motives from coming to the park with harmful and dangerous objects; and with these scanners in place, such objects would be detected,” Ufoma said.
While revealing that a newly constructed Police post, located within the Park, was also due for handing over to the Nigerian Police, Ufoma said that men of the Armed Mobile Police will soon begin a 24-hour patrol of the areas round the park, to further ensure that visitors, who desire to have fun during the Yuletide
season, are adequately secured and protected.
