SPEAKER of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Joseph Albasu Kunini, has resigned.
Kunini reportedly resigned on “personal grounds”.
The People’s Democratic Party member representing Zing Constituency, John Kizito Bonzena, is the new Speaker.
Deputy Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Hamman Adama Abdullahi, read Kunini’s resignation letter, dated December 21, 2022, while presiding over plenary.
