Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has lost his three years old son, Ifeanyi.
According to sources, the boy drowned in the wee hours of Tuesday inside the family’s swimming pool in Lagos.
Little Ifeanyi was said to be underwater for a very long time before being spotted.
He was immediately pulled out and rushed to Lagoon Hospital, where he was confirmed dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, Davido has confirmed the passing on of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Davido with crying emoji wrote, “Why Ifeanyi, I had plans for you” ending it with a heartbroken emoji showing the fem crooner is in deep mourning.
Ifeanyi is Davido’s first son which he had with his long time hearthrob, Chioma.
Chioma and Davido were seen few days earlier celebrating Ifeanyi’s third birthday.
With this, Ifeanyi became the second child of celebrities to have drowned.
Daniel Oyebanjo III, D’baj’s son also drowned in the swimming pool of the musician on June 24, 2018.
Heartfelt condolences had been pouring in for the Adelekes over the death of Ifeanyi.
