The Lagos State chapter of the Boys’ Brigade has inducted the Managing Director of Access Bank Plc, Mr. Herbert Wigwe, as its Patron.
Wigwe’s recognition is connected to his exemplary role in the society and contributions to youth development, especially the Boys’ Brigade, which is a global interdenominational Christian youth organisation.
At the investiture ceremony in Lagos, the Access Bank boss was formally decorated as the State Patron in accordance with the provision of the organization’s constitution; section 34 which stipulates that “ men and women of proven integrity and good Christian standing”, be appointed as Patron of the Brigade Niger at different level.
With his induction and acceptance of the Brigade’s membership card, Wigwe has become a member of the Patrons Forum of the Brigade in Lagos State.
As a worldwide movement working with millions of children and young people for well over a century, BB serves as a veritable footstool for reaching out to youths and impacting their lives positively for Dr. Wigwe.
